Haykin Family Cider is looking for new friendly faces to join our Market Team. We are looking for fun, dynamic, and excited apple enthusiasts to help taste and sell cider at farmers markets around Denver and Boulder and in our tasting room!

If you like being outdoors, chatting with foodies, shocking people with how cool apples are, impressing "non-cider" people with delicious cider, and being the face of an award-winning local company, then this could be the position for you!

We are looking for staff for weekend farmers markets, weeknight festivals, as well as some regular tasting room help. You can work as much or as little as works for your schedule!


Experience and requirements:

First and foremost, this is a customer service position. Any retail, FOH (front-of-house), or customer-facing experience is helpful. We’re looking for friendly, passionate, and patient people who can pick up details quickly and are excited to answer questions about cider and apples. You will be the face of our brand and family at these events.

Beyond customer service, this is a physically-demanding position. You will have to be able to stand for hours at a time, lift heavy objects (case boxes of cider, tents, and tables), and do it all with a smile. In addition to Market Staff, we need Market Leaders. This position would require being comfortable driving a van and working longer hours.

We are also looking for a Sales Manager. This person will be a key member of our team who will help us grow our sales in multiple business areas - wholesale, retail, distribution, and markets. We work with distributors in five states. We are poured in some of the best restaurants in town. We have one of the largest cider clubs in the world. And we are looking for a talented person to help us manage these business areas. In this role, in addition to working a customer facing position, you would help develop the market and tasting room staffing schedules, maintain contact with current wholesale accounts for restocking and reach out to new accounts. You would connect with our cider club members and help manage releases as well as ensuring all market teams are in the right places at the right times with the right tools. Additionally, you will help maintain the relevant paperwork. There is a lot of room to grow in this role. Timing:

Market season runs from approx April until November. Our tasting room is year-round!

Team members will need to work at least three shifts a month depending on the team.

Current Shift Opportunities:

South Pearl Farmers Market:

Sundays 7am - 2pm

Aurora Tasting Room:

Thurs 5 - 10pm
Fri 5 - 10pm
Sat 1 - 10pm
Sun 1 - 8pm

Future markets and year-round bazaars are unknown at this point however there will be some markets during the week in the evenings.

All roles will require evening and weekend work.

Pay:

Market Team members are guaranteed at least $25 an hour but sometimes tips can take that to $30 or more.
Market Leads are guaranteed at least $30 an hour but sometimes tips can make that significantly more.
Sales Manager is guaranteed at least $35 an hour but sometimes tips can make that significantly more. Also, the Sales Manager will qualify for medical and dental insurance.
